Hello Lover!

Oh what joy I discovered today when my UPS guy delivered these yummy packages to me!

I am in total love with anything bright, floral, or hot pink for Spring!

I finally got around to ordering my Balenciaga bag this week! It came really quickly! After much thought I switched from the Velo style to the Day bag in Cyclamen with Giant 21 Rose Gold Hardware....but I really want the Velo in Coquelicot which is the most pretty true lipstick red that I NEED for football season! I believe it will be my Valentine's...;-) The Velo is just a more classic style and I wanted a more hip bag for this color! The Day is perfect for a grab and go bag that also fits my bill for being big and roomy and easy to carry!

The Rose Gold Hardware is just stunning on this bag in this color!!

The color is very saturated and the bag is super soft, which is super rare for a Balenciaga bag, you usually get one or the other! Super excited to have a great broken-in feel to this bag!

Super excited about my new jeans too! I will be blogging soon about my latest obsession with the Thompson Citizens of Humanity jeans! Stay tuned! I have lots of styles and colors to share! I have been stockpiling!

Quick Pics in my Powder Room before Date Night!

Hi Ladies! I just had to blog a few quick iPhone pics from last weekend so I could share about my newest obsession: Tom Ford Beauty!! If you are my friend on Facebook you already know I am slowly stockpiling this line on all the recent trips I have taken to Dallas lately! It is also available on Neiman Marcus online...but I must say...the colors are way different in person...and you will want everything when you get to their counter! I went to the one in Northpark Dallas, they were very educated and thought I was adorable...they know the key to my wallet! ;-)

Here are the key players in my look in the above pic's:

Tom Ford Beauty, Lip Color, $48, True Coral, found here. I have really been having fun with wearing a bright, bold color on my lips and this is my far my favorite. It just has such a rich, expensive look, but without looking like you tried too hard! My other favorite is Flamingo, which is a hot pinkish color. I will post pics of it soon!

Tom Ford Beauty, Cheek Color, $55, Love Lust, found here. The picture online does this blush no justice! It is the perfect pink! It gives my cheeks such a natural glow. I really think this blush could be in any woman's makeup collection and is quickly becoming an everyday staple for me! I'm in total lust over it!

Tom Ford Beauty, Eye Quad $75, Silvered Topaz, found here. The eye quads in this line are on another level! I have always been a die hard Chanel eye addicts for years, but this line has totally blown me away...I know it is hard to tell in this pic, but they are super pigmented, and super shimmery, but not over the top...does that make sense? lol My other must have quad color is Golden Mink. Honestly, if you have just these two quads, they will take you until Fall. Lovely colors...Love love love!

LOVING the new Spring Looks!!!

Decided I must try it all on...below are a few shots! Sorry, it didn't occur for me to take pics until I was halfway finished trying on! I ended up buying...almost everything!! I am so bad! I just fell so hard for this grouping! Can't wait for more to show up so I can buy it all too! lol

Loved this look so much! Ended up with both pieces. The silk top runs a little big, the blazer runs very small! Super cute together or apart! Can't wait to wear these! I think they even looked super cute with my neon blue jeans!!

Fell in love with these YSL Tributes! I called to chargesend them today!

Super fun new rings and necklaces! My favs? The necklace on the right and the yellow ring came home with me!

Bracelets! Loving layers and layers of arm candy this Spring. I bought the top bracelet back last Fall, can't wait to pile the middle bracelet on with it!

The White Trench...major. I am so in love with this! It will be great with killer heels and cute scarves! I plan on wearing mine to church over my new Spring dresses (ummm, I bought every one in the store...almost). This is a great buy! Runs a little big, which is great for layering!

This!!! When I first saw this on the hanger, I instantly loved it, but wasn't sure if I could pull this off...but I think it is uber flattering!! Very ladylike and I love it! Can't wait to pair it with the striped blazer shown below...super major look! Runs True!

Looking for a pop of neon color without going crazy bright? Get this dress! I loved it! Makes me look so tan and the cut is flattering!

One of my favorite pieces!! Love it! Does this get anymore lady-like??? I think I just found my Easter dress!! Love love love!!!

This past weekend I had a fabo long girl weekend in Dallas. Dallas is hands down one of my favorite places. I had to come to the big city for market, but I also decided to shop for myself some too!

I ended up with the White Trench (and seriously wanting the same black one. It is just that awesome!), Striped Blazer, Striped Skirt, Navy Blazer, Silk Neck Tie Blouse, Orange and Cream Striped Dress, Neon Yellow Dress, a Red Dress like the Navy one pictured at the Top (that is SO precious on!), Necklace and matching yellow ring, MiuMiu patent nude bow flat sandals and YSL multi suede Tributes!

I also made another trip to Dallas a couple of weeks ago and picked up the new Khaki Trench, Color Block Neon Dress, and some cute scarves to wear with the Trench, as well as half the new Tom Ford cosmetic counter...I will post pics of these purchases soon!

Hope I inspired some new Spring purchases!!

I'm sorry for such a quick outfit pic...I took lots of others earlier today...but they somehow disappeared off my camera so i quickly snapped this one... :-(

Today I made a quick trip to Memphis for the usual...plumbing faucets, Fresh Market, Sephora, Whole Foods, and Gigi's Cupcakes! I must say I felt pretty cute today! I got stopped at least a dozen times by someone to tell me how cute I looked, or how much they loved my top, or my boots, or my bag! (I wore my black Balenciaga PomPon Giant Gold) All the sweet compliments made my day! :-)

I love this time of year...the few weeks leading into the holidays....one good reason is all the fund Friends & Family sales! I have done my damage at Shopbop, Saks, and now Sephora!

Influenced by Nicole's post (check out her blog here, she is def one of my fav bloggers! Yarnz Faded Leopard Cashmere Scarf $188 in cloud, found here! I am so excited about this scarf! I am so into Navy this season, so this will be perfect to put with some Navy suede heels and dark denim, or under my navy Juicy wool poncho! Loving this!

Chanel Les Jeans Polish Collection, Sold out (check eBay!) These are so awesome in person, and again perfect for my new anything blue kick! About to try out the indigo Blue Boy today! Blue Rebel is the perfect bright navy, while Coco Blue is going to be so pretty with winter whites, and great with Spring white with turq jewels!

Juicy Reston Riding Boots in 7, $425, found here. I am so, so happy I went with these instead of continuing my life long search for the Chanel's I have been coveting forever! They fit TTS and are amazing quality! These will go with everything...well almost!

A Peace Treaty Rings, and House of Harlow Evil Eye Bracelet, all found here. Def need the Evil Eye bracelet...need all the help I can get with negative energy lately! Loving the two finger rings, and also the knuckle rings so I stocked up! These will be the perfect touches to winter outfits!

Chanel's Fall Nail Collection colors in Peridot, Quartz, and Graphite, found here. As you all know, I am all things Chanel makeup. I buy every new collection, and consider myself a true collector. These are treasured jewels in my arsenal of polishes! They are all major enough to stop traffic, but are also great everyday, wear with anything polishes! I have had these for a month or two, but I believe they are all still available, get them while you can!

Yarnz Cashmere Cheetah Scarf in Orange, $188, also comes in a great Teal color! Found here. I couldn't hardly stand to decide and after seeing how fabulous my orange is, I might just have to come back for the Teal too! The orange is great for my new warmer hair color that i'm trying out, but the Teal would be awesome for when I go back blonde!

Are you as ready for Fall as me?? I've finally pulled the trigger on several things this week to start building a solid base for layers like scarves, jackets, boots, and more, more, more! Here's a quick list of most of what I have gotten so far. I do have a couple of big Juicy purchases as well I will post about this week too when I have time to take a few pics!

LOVE this Parker Tunic! I am so ready to wear this with black leather leggings and stiletto booties!!!

Another Parker tunic I have been trying to snag for two seasons now...perfect with just black tights...being as short as I am I can totally pull this off as a cute party dress!

Again, another Parker top! I love this cool, ethnic print with all my fav colors of the season: red, black, navy, yellow, and cream! I will be able to wear this with anything, but am loving the idea of it under a cream fur vest with dark dyed denim!

Marcus Lupfer Bling Ring Sweater! Need I say more??

Juicy Striped Top! Such a great anytime, anywhere top! Can never go wrong with black and white!

BB Dakota...cute RED options for me for football games (Go Hogs!) and the holidays! This sweater again has all my fav colors for Fall!

My newest OBSESSION...YOSI SAMRA! So comfy, great style, fun colors, cheap price!!! Love them all! I have already launched a drastic search for the Leopard flats in my size! These flats will be my go-to's all season long!

Some new Kain tops in fun new Fall colors. Prob the most flattering basics I own. WORTH the dollars girls! They are so lightweight I love to layer thermals under, scarves and jackets over, and all above!

Paige Verdugo Jeans! LOVE these...so far ordered the red and black...next up is the Black Orchid purple! So comfy, and fit me perfecto!

Citizens jeans are always my go-to. These cobalt crops are the perfect length for fun flats or sky-high heels. These are super duper flattering as well! Prob one of my fav purchases so far!

The new Citizen's boyfriend jeans...order tts for the fit to be like the model...perfect dressed up or down!

Having fun buying for Fall! Was so busy all summer I didn't have much time for sleep, let alone shopping! Something tells me that won't be the case this season!

It is a light material for the hot humid days here and has gold chain fringe, and is super long...imo a really great buy for the price...have seen several of the other colors on super sale online, and I'm sure Lo has several colors as well...also love the Squeezed Lemon color! Perfect as a bikini coverup, under a jacket, or paired with a great summer dress!

My Lanvin Tote...$1475, NetaPorter, and Neimans (Neimans has it included in their extra 25% off sale...so this would make it almost half off!!!!)...this screams Summer! I love that is is big and I can carry all my paperwork, iPad, MacBook, everything in it....or use it as a beach bag. Major cuteness!!! I loved it bc it has all kinds of colors, so I can pick it up and take it with me all the time and it will match everything in my closet! If you can get this on sale, GREAT BUY!

Juicy Terry Dress in Prep Cool, $158...found on Revolve Clothing.com...warning this is a bright orange dress...but I'm never one to shy about from anything bright...or anything Juicy for that matter! It has really great gold tassels that helps to take this from a coverup to wear anywhere and look chic-ness! I love wearing mine with a big straw hat and big sunnies with my TB bright gold metallic sandals!

Juicy Couture Maisley Pique Bikini Top and Bottoms, $94, and $85, now on SALE here at Saks.com...if anyone knows me they know I am a bikini snob. I am extremely picky and only order suits that I love the print, fit, material, and oh yeah, make me look hot. This was one of the only suits I have bought this year. The print sold me. I ordered a bright royal blue fringe scarf to tie on with it and I'm ready for sun!

Noisette Jacket from Anthropologie.com, $128, found here. One of my favorite purchases from this year. I've been wearing it belted under vintage rock tees or my Wildfox and Chaser LA tees and a Fedora. So, so, so, so cute! I am plan on taking this on vacation to use as a coverup to a bright purple Maya bikini and I even throw it on over my nightgown bc I just want to wear it ALL the time!! I got a small, could have totally and should have totally got a XS, but it doesn't not flatter me. Besides, I couldn't wait that time it would have taken to exchange it!! Just buy it and see what i'm talking about!

Coined Clutch from Anthropologie.com, $128, found here in Beige and Black. I ordered Beige....but now I want the black too! It's big, and i'm obsessed with big clutches right now...has to be big enough to hold and iPad, all my Chanel Lipglosses, phone, money...and flashy enough so if I set it down when I see another flashy object I can't live without it can be easily found. This one meets those expectations. Totally boho. Can be dressed up or down. LOVE and I get a ton of compliments!

Just found the perfect bag to be my Spring/Summer Bag! I am so in love! I love all the colors on the flowers, and the black Lanvin letters! I have been pulling my hair out for weeks trying to decide on the perfect bag for this season, and this is it! I love that it is casual, and will work with so many things...and that it is Big! I can throw it on with boyfriend jeans and a simple white tee to run a quick errand...leggings and a yoga tank and head to the gym...or with a cute sundress and big shades for a shopping excursion!

Again, my apologies for lack of outfit pics...still working on getting that mirror hung grrrrr.....

Last night I had a very important mission! Cleaning out my pantry! I have decided to go back to vegan 100% again...that is as soon as I get rid of all the yummy goodies that were taking over my shelves...lots of things were left over from all the holiday baking I intended to do...but for the most part never did...so I set to work on this yummy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe...until I realized I was out of eggs! Geez...soooo

I slipped on three of my favorite purchases from this season...my Wildfox Love Potion No9 Sweater in Cream, my Juicy Couture Cape, and my Chanel Riding Boots. I snagged these at Saks while I was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl! They were the last in my size in the nation...how lucky was I?I am so excited about them, they are classic and so hip at the same time, me likey so much!!! I can wear them anywhere and then come home and jump on a horse and ride off into the sunset hehe...

The Cape and the Sweater are both really great too, especially for cold days! We have had such a cold snap the past few weeks! Brrrrrr rabbit! The sweater is a total outfit maker and the Cape goes with EVERYTHING! I especially love it with my Jimmy Choo Black Hunters, the gold hardware on both are so major together. I also wore my one feather Earring I ordered from Shopbop (sold out), and a Juicy Couture cuff that I adore.

The rest of the night was spent in the kitchen, making the best cookies in the world...today? Cheesecake! Wish me luck being able to buckle my jeans on Monday!

Today I had BIG Plans! I actually had to go somewhere that didn't involve a construction site...I got to go to the bank and sign loan papers for some new equipment for Burt! Ha!

"BIG" plans right? Not really, but it was a new bank we are working with, and I was bored this morning and was just in the mood to wear something cute!

So...I wore this.

I got tons of compliments from the ladies AND the gents AND I probably have all the construction spec home loans I will ever need in the future hehe!

I have named this sweater from Dolce Vita "Tic Tac Toe". So cute and not itchy. I wish I would have went ahead and purchased the longer version but I was scared it would swallow me, and I have already purchased enough panchos to clothe Mexico City...so I went for the short and sassy version! I love that it is reversible, two sweaters in one! What a deal! ;-)

I am so excited about Black/White/Cream and any similar version of it this season! For starters, EVERYONE looks great in it! Who doesn't love looking slimmer? Also,black is timeless and crosses all fashion lines, so I tend to believe if it has black in it, it will be worn for many more days to come in my closet. And let's be honest, after the year I have had (long story short, we have been extremely blessed, but extremely stressed!) I think I am what I am wearing...subdued and in a dark kind of mood for this season! I am so ready for the holidays to help me snap out of it, but...until then...you will probably notice a trend in my closet...lots of black for winter!

I loved the new Neiman Marcus catalog...it had lots of black/white pieces, like these Wister tops found here. I ordered the black, since I am really not a dress person at the moment, this top will work double duty for me as a dress with thick tights and booties or a really cute tunic under this great Alice and Oliva vest shown here that's on my birthday wishlist with black or grey jeans and these great Ash suede thigh high boots I just purchased from Shopbop.

Here's some other pieces I have ordered that I really love! There are also a couple of other tops I am deciding on which I would rather order...(leaning towards the Sass N Bide)...hope you dolls like!

Spring & Clifton Striped Blanket in Black/White (I personally think it looks more cream in real life and its really warm!) found here and Cecelia De Bucourt scarf sold out at Shopbop. I wore this to dinner the other night with Juicy faux leather leggings and my Pelle Moda lace up booties, it was really cute. The top actually has a marled look to it that is super cute. This is the top that started all of this black/white nonsense you are witnessing right now!!

This Dolce Vita 'Ryan" Reversible Sweater Coat is so great. I actually ordered the jacket version from Revolve, but only because I am a shorty and thought it might be a tad bit more flattering on me...but I love the longer one...and the really great Ella Moss Dreamscape Top I just ordered from Nordstrom, isn't this easy perfection? Soooo excited to get this top! It's also available in a grey/black version, but I am so partial to this color combo! Both are found at Nordstrom.com! I am actually loving Nordstrom right now, they have really great cost friendly trendy pieces, I may need to need to make a new post about what all I am drooling over on that site now!

These cute tees from Literature Noir I love! You know this wouldn't be a post from me without some comfy tees, right? Just got them from Revolve last week and they were delivered yesterday! So great, they can be worn slouching around or dressed up to the 9's with leather leggings, a cool vest, and awesome shoes! Today I am wearing the I Eat Diamonds for Breakfast Tee that a 80 year old lady at Kroger asked me where I got it from this morning lol. I also love the Keep Calm and Carry On top. Burt tells me this should be my motto, since stress shows itself in a temper for me most of the time!lol Both here at Revolve! I highly recommend!

I recently purchased this Loeffler Randall OTK Anaconda Patent boots (what a mouthful!) and why they looked soooooo unbeweavable in the pics from Neiman's...ehhh in real life. The space between the scales are a blueish tint and me no likey...so I should return right? I am sooo bummed because I thought these would be awesome...what do you guys think? I am boxing them back up to return, but am waiting until I hear feedback on what you girls think, you are all soooo stylish!

Ok, this post is really for Nina, but...it this scarf is just so so pretty I wanted to share with everyone on my blog!

I saw this scarf on Piperlime over a month ago, and am so happy I ordered it! I was surprised that the colors are more pink and tealish than red and green, but I still love it!

I think it will look so chic under a navy velvet blazer or with just a simple white tank like on the model...

Today I am up and at them to run errands, so I thought I would snap a quick pic of what I put on today! I was in a hurry, but these Miu Miu platforms were staring at me, only worn twice, I needed to change that! Granted, I was also starting a slab today and they wouldn't be practical so I grabbed my silver Hunter boots for my construction site visits and just slipped them back on to run around everywhere else! These shoes are so much fun...and flashy! Love them!

Hey gals! I know this isn't exactly an outfit post, but I haven't found the perfect mirror to put in my closet just yet (actually I think I am just going to have a really cool one made out of some old barnwood!) so I thought I could at least snap a few pics of what I laid out for myself to wear yesterday? Will this work until I get a mirror I can take a full length pic of myself?

Yesterday I took it easy on work and well, worked on other things lol. Fun things! Like, for example my fall front door frontage! I think it turned out okay! I really wanted to go more "all out", but hey I'm a busy girl...maybe next year! Too many other people's houses to worry about...and don't get me started on how much is still left to do inside and out of mine...sheesh!

But...back to my outfit! I snatched these Pedro Garcia's on super sale from a boutique named Joseph last summer...and had yet to wear them! Now they are on my feet ALL the time! Maybe it's all the pumpkins on my mine? Nope, it's this AWESOME Tolani scarf I snatched a couple of months ago on Revolve...I am in love with these too together! I recently went to Dallas a few weekends ago and ended up wearing this scarf and shoe combos all weekend with different basics...one day I styled it like I did here yesterday with JBrand jeggings and a white Kain top. The next day with black leggings and a black Nation Ltd top, and both were really cute! I get stopped everywhere I go in this getup! And to think I almost gave these shoes away last fall because I haven't worn them yet!! Shame on me! I love all the colors on the scarf and the tiedye is really great too! It is also just a really simple cotton, so it so easy to throw on and go!

What a steal! This jumpsuit is a really great soft silky masterpiece that is so 80's chic! I wore this on a trip to Dallas and during the holidays last year and got so many compliments!

I also posted some great basics that are just such a great deal and could easily be staple pieces in any girls wardrobe! The grey sweater is really delicate and amazing, as well as the camel backless camel sweater! Both are so great!

I currently have every safari space on my Ipad full with online boutiques that carry Wildfox!

But let's back up a bit, I have a little confession to make...My IPad is a bad, bad thing for my pocketbook! I It has made my late night shopping sprees way too easy. Who thinks straight at 2:00 am when they are pissed they can't sleep because the person next to them is waking the dogs up outside because he is snoring so loud. No One.

So what's a girl (who cherishes her beauty rest!!) to do all night long...instead of regretting adding an extra bedroom with sound proof walls just for me when I built this house? SHOP! On his dime!lol the true revenge...I am lucky to get 4 hrs a night lately. I tell him all the time it would be MUCH cheaper to go have surgery than to have me stay up and shop all night...looks like for now he would rather me shop...guess he hasn't checked his debit card charges haha...

Ok, back to Wildfox! This brand is quickly filling up my new closet space and is one of my most favorite brands now...I am OBSESSED with several of their pieces for Fall...and Winter...and Spring and Summer! This brand is always a go-to for me! Their pieces are always Comfy and Cute, my two prerequisites! They have that great vintage feel and look. They are the perfect blend of boho/fashionista style I adore!

Here are some of my favorite pieces I have purchased/will be purchasing the next time I have a sleepless night (which has been every night lately, hence why there have been no outfit posts of late. I am a fright from no sleep. No one deserves to see me lol. I am a walking zombie as of late...can you tell I am lacking sleep? Can't hold a thought...)

Wildfox Love Potion No. 9 Sweater! Wouldn't this be soooo cute with leather leggings and killer heels? So fun for my age, trendy, but also a great cut and it's a really soft, not itchy cashmere...plus if it's cool enough for Taylor it is cute enough for me too! $178 is a great price for such a cute piece. This is a piece I know I will get compliments on! It's just too cute not too!! Love the sequins and the shape of the bottle!

Lightning Crew Neck Sweater! Prob one of my most anticipated purchases for Fall! Since I have been one of the lucky few people who has been struck by lightning this sweater is made for me! The only thing I am a tiny bit worried about might be the shoulder pads. I hope they don't make me look like a linebacker! Ordered this last night and I can't wait to get it. Revolve had it a month or so ago and the small sold out instantly and I was bummed! But...with a little late night research...Boutique To You had it! Sweet! Went ahead and put the Revolve pic up because the pic is better...and it is still available in a Large there! I plan on wearing this with my Miu Miu sequin platform heels and baggy dark rolled jeans!

Umm, comfort perfection in Olive! So Low Burnout Boyfriend Hoodie in Vintage Army for $103. Go super casual again with a cute pair of mocs, leggings, and the scarf above! It's only $103, so the combo of the two items would be less than $100. I know some of you may be rolling your eyes to spend so much on a sweatshirt, but in my world these are the items that will be workhorses. Worn Over and Over and Over and Over. They practically have holes in them before I can bare to part with them. And to be quite honest, they are the pieces that I get the most compliments about because everyone is on the hunt for stuff that you can bum in and still look cute right? (Right? I know lots of my time is wasted to achieve this "I didn't try look" lol) So the $100 sweatshirt is a price worth paying to me. So Low pieces are awesome too. I am such a fan of the Ruffle Foldover Yoga Pants. So comfy and they last!

I also think you could wear one of those really cute braided hair bands that make me look like I am trying too hard but seem to look so cute on everyone else...sigh. Super cute!

Also, since I am in a khaki/olive/tan/brown frame of mind, I must give a Shoutout to these Eternal Sunshine sweaters! They are just darling! And timeless...I am not sure which one I love more, the roomy cardigan or the great slub shoulder sweater? Drool....I see an outfit waiting tohappen with a great pair of camel leather boots and a simple t-shirt dress underneath as shown on the fit model...soooo cute! I just adore the big bell sleeves on the sweater and am leaning that route...but the cardigan would look great with the scarf above, but in the Olive color it comes with!

I was so excited to get this email today!! Over the past couple of days Lo has emailed me soooo many cute things for me to share with everyone! I have been in a tiny bit of a shopping slump as of late (I think it has to do with having to make so many decisions on purchases for the new house oy! I swear I have design ADD with my own home, too many options!!), but alas!! Lo has cured me!

I am a HUGE fan of Juicy's yoga line! Everything is really comfy, and stretchy, and stays in place. I love yoga and attend hot yoga regularly, but I also work out daily in the line! I love that I can work out and still look cute while having to torture myself! It is also great to throw on for a chill day as well. You look super cute no matter what! I love pairing the yoga pants with the Juicy Rose Flats and i'm out the door! Workout Chic!!

I also love the tongue-in-cheek sayings on the tees!! Sassy, but Sweet!!

I think I am ordering mostly everything from this line since I live in it! I am so excited to see the windbreaker, the longer tunic, the How Low Can You Go tee, and the medallion shorts! I have several pairs of the black pants, and will prob add a fresh pair to my rotation too!

Fall Focus: Embellished Shoulders

I am sooo in fall mode! Sweaters, boots, scarves, you gals know these are already mainstay staples of mine...but I thought over the next couple of days I would spotlight certain style trends that I will be loving, lusting, and layering with for fall!

First up is the Embellished Shoulder!! I am sooooo in love with this trend! While I am a huge fan of jewelry, and have always went with the rule more is more as far as piling it all on, I have seemed to hit a jewelry null as of late.

Some of it has to do with incorporating my new rock into my wardrobe (for some reason it must match all my other jewelry, which is a challenge because mostly all I have is ghetto gold, and my engagement ring is platinum. so I am caught with a dilemma at the moment. I am hoping as time passes I will get more used to it, or incorporate some cool gold diamond bands to mix on both sides of the ring, but for now I am in jewelry purgatory!) while the other reason seems to be that I am really loving all the big bib necklaces, but don't think they will work well for someone with a chest like mine. sigh...so what's a girl like me to do? Find cute tops that take all the guess work out of it!!! So right now I can just focus on finding cute cocktail rings that mix real with my real ring and let these tops do all the work for me!

Also, another great reason that these I pray these style tops stay trendy for quite some time (besides the fact I have invested more in them than my 401K this year? lol JK!) is for the fact that they narrow down last minute decisions with my outfits....which are always the decisions that make me late everywhere I go, and are the cause of sooooo many of those Why Aren't You Ready Yet??!!! arguments!

I love this band jacket. I think the band jacket is one of my favorite style of blazers, I love how it is structured at the shoulders and low waist and drapey in the sleeves and chest area. I really love how they have this jacket styled here, but know I could never pull this off. Oddly, I am a huge fan of white for this fall (?) and think this would just be great over a simple white Kain tank and my black bandage David Lerner leggings with a pair neck. The jacket has just enough detail to be interesting, but not overpowering. Love!

I actually purchased this dress a couple of weeks back from Neiman Marcus as an option for a funeral I needed to attend. The weather was scorching outside so all my demure wool pieces just wouldn't do. The Neiman's site did not show the dress as "embellished" as it does on the Shopbop site, so as you probably figured out it wouldn't have worked for a funeral!! Instead, it will work for days like today! Today I am wearing this dress with my black leather 12th Street strappy wedge sandals! Too cute! Very comfy! Wow, this new perfume by looks alone certainly makes me want to go buy a bottle! It is just so girly girl gone bohemian chic! LOVE the advertising campaign pictures! I want every piece of jewelry she has layered on so thick!! But...back to the perfume...I haven't seen it in any stores yet (probably because I haven't BEEN inside a store in hmmm, how long has it been?) but here is a description of it from the Juicy website and it sounds delish!

Peace, Love and Juicy Couture is inspired by earthly beauty and far fetched things - and captured the free spirited, hippy vibe of Malibu. Inside, meyer lemon tree blossom, wild hyacinth, sweet apple accord, black currant bud absolute, sambac jasmine absolute, star magnolia, malibu poppy, honeysuckle, linden blossom, orris extract, sheer patchouli flower, and enveloping musks. As you guys may or may not know, I am a die hard razorback fan! The football season starts next weekend and I am so excited!! We go to every game, and yes, every game is a fashion show!...but let's face facts, dressing up for football games is tricky! If you know me at all, I love all things fashion, but it must be comfortable!! Sooo, when it comes to football games, there is lots of traveling, lots of walking, lots of tailgating, and it seems either extreme heat, cold or rain! Luckily, we have inside club seats so once inside the stadium I can strut my stuff!lol Not! Well, maybe a little!...especially when I find totally cute red pieces to sport to the games! I get so excited when I find the perfect comfy Razorback Red accessories to go Hog Wild with!! See the awesome new pieces I am so excited about Calling the Hogs this season!

First up are the Jimmy Choo Croc Hunter Boots in Red! $425, Saks.com Ummm, will it please rain for at least one game so I can wear these? Are these A-M-A-Z-I-N-G? LOVES!!! This will also also a little fashion to my everyday all black looks all fall and winter as well as cute black and white wool herringbone Chanel-ish tweed jackets? Juicy has an awesome one that will be mine and the boots would just set the look on fire!

I also purchased this really cute We Are Owls Cheetah Scarf this week! So Cute! $218 from Shopbop.com I am buying a new scarf from them every week. (I think B is going to have to have a scarf intervention with me. I am obsessed I tell you!) This one is perfect for the games, I can just throw on black leggings or jeans and a cute white silk top or black tee and am insta ready! Love! This will also be really cute with black skinnies, a black leather jacket, and cute Lanvin flats as well! This will be worn for several games!

For when we stay at home for a few of the away games, these cute Ugg Dakota slippers will be perfect to scream at the tv while vegging out with B. Perfect for just a leggings and my favorite player's oversized jersey to make a grocery run for snacks and lounging around to watch the game!

Earlier this summer I purchased a Sahara Regular Hardware PomPon from Barney's online and I have used it everyday, so I knew for fall I had to get a Black one, and I knew I had to go big (hardware that is) or go home. It is simply stunning in the Giant Gold Hardware! ($1895, found in Balenciaga stores)

I already have dreams of my next one! Pomegrante is next on my list! I love the PomPon style so much!

Shoes of Summer!

Ok, since I have been such a total blog slacker this summer, (and since I am just totally bored packing and need a distraction hehe) I thought I would make a few posts about what has been in CONSTANT rotation in my wardrobe this summer.

I must admit I am a total shoe whore!! I have over 300 pairs (currently trying to edit so stay tuned for a closet cleanout sale/giveaway soon!) and when I am living in a small rent house that is basically a holding cell for B and I and all our stuff, it is impossible to unpack everything, which means what exactly? Basically this means you wear the same things over and over and over and over and over!! (Did I mention that 95% of my summer clothes have not even been unpacked from the warehouse since we thought we would be moved before summer. Yeah, not cool. But hey, perfect excuse for buying new clothes and not getting any grief from it!)
Sooo, I thought I would show you guys what my staples have been! Can you tell that most are worn for the wear?lol As you can see, almost all are flats, and this is strictly because I have been working seven days a week and flats are a must. Let's face it, I look ridic on the jobsites in these flats, could you even imagine heels?? No. I have featured one pair of wedges that I wore lots for dinner dates and such (though those were few and far between!) and they are so comfy and great!

This are perfect for cute sun dresses or cute flowy tunics that I wear as dresses! (The only advantage of being short) This have a classy, old school, old money style sandal. Love! They have a tiny feel of old lady to them with the tiny wedge heel, but that's what I love about them! These are so pretty with tan legs, and I loved to pile on a bunch of bangles in the same finish as these shoes! Can't get enough of these! I sized up 1/2 a size btw!

As you can tell these are worn almost every day I am not on jobsites. These matched my Balenciaga Pompon Sahara perfectly so they were always my no-think choice. Looked cute with everything from black leggings to cut-offs to skinnys to bootcuts! Love! They can be dressed up or worn totally casual too. One of my bbf 's Nina turned me on to these and I can't thank her enough! I might have to buy the black now too to transition into fall!

Juicy Couture Noelle Jelly, $80 Lo's Juicy Couture Store in Malibu.

I only have these pictured in the Hot Pink, but I have these in all five colors. They are worn EVERY DAY! They take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. I love how I can just spray them off with the water hose and they are good as new!

These are so pretty on! I have the Alexander Wang Rocco Duffel bag in Grey so I wanted a cute pair of shoes to wear with this bag, and also a cute pair of metallic silverish sandals to wear in place of black sandals and these were the answer. They actually come above the ankles so they are really blingy and I get so many compliments on them! Love love love Antik Batik shoes! These are really cute with dark skinnies with a beater and a cute scarf too!

These are so awesome. I also have these in Misty Rose but they are packed. They are Out of Control!!! But...they get dirty easy so I always revert back to my black ones..So boho chic, but with not taking it too far. Perfect for summer dresses and black skinny jeans with a cute boho flowy top or a cute rocker tee. I also think these will take me into fall with Black JBrand skinny jeggings and Chaser LA tees. I think these look great with lots of my girly Rebecca Taylor tops to add some edge!

Ready to hear some shocking news?? I haven't bought much Juicy lately!! What is going on with me? Yikes!! I have been finding some really cute things for Spring and Summer, but it has been mixtures of Joie, Marc, 12th Street, Carrera, and Alexander Wang, just to name a few! I'm so sorry I just haven't seen much that has made me want to pile it all in my shopping cart and press confirm order...except for these great pieces! Girls, it is already shorts weather here!! So, what does that mean besides running and spinning my poor little legs off? Since I am getting a tad bit into my late twenties, I think it is time to give up my daisy dukes and find more sophisticated, ladylike shorts, and more importantly, shorts I can wear with cute heels and wedges! Juicy has a couple of really cute options I love!
The Moto Leather Shorts are so darling, aren't they? I see myself rocking these with my newest obsessions, my black Joir Rock Steady Fringe Wedges I picked up this week at Cusp, and showcased here on my friend Nicole on her blog! She has the best taste and the best wardrobe! I think on the top half, I would just keep it simple with a Kain tank and a cute bandeau top, or a cute over the shoulder Lauren Moshi or LNA top!
Also featured is the Dip Dye short in Puddle Jump. I think these would be so cute with these Joie Turn Me Loose sandals (can you tell I am OBSESSED with Joie shoes this season!), bunches of bangles and just a simple white tank, or even layered with a denim jacket! Or, even with black! Love that these can be dressed up or dressed down with just simple flips and a ponytail too!

This Rebecca Taylor Silk Cashmere Circular Crew With Tank in Heather Grey. Isn't this top darling on her? She can do no wrong fashion wise imo. I plan on wearing this top with my white denim JBrand jeggings and maybe my Ash Lotus Wedges?? If not, I have a pair of Joie sandals in mind that would work well with this top too! You know, I do this for you girls. I post incredibly bad pics of myself in the name of fashion. This pic I seem soooo wide, but I promise, I am not, just a bad t-shirt angle! But, it was the only pic that had my new black Juicy Ollie Sandals, so what the heck, I had to share!!
This pic was also from Dallas on one of my loooong market days, so what was number one priority?? Comfort!!! I admit. my feet hurt by the end of my 12-hour day, but they weren't that bad, and all the compliments really helped out on the pain. I was stopped every five minutes again on this day!! Girls, please do yourself a favor and get yourself a pair (or two, the orange ones are even better! I am ordering a great Tolani tunic to pair with them tommorrow!) of these! People will be so busy looking at your feet, they won't notice the rest of you!
I kept it mostly simple and paired them with Juicy Pedal Pushers (I own sooo many pairs of these!), a Velvet Rae tank in Grey (xs), and a Free People Slit Ballerina Top (xs). To top it off, I threw on my new Yarnz Neoleopard scarf for the pop of color it needed to tie my shoes in with everything!

Today I ordered three times from Shopbop...oops, make that four times, some shoes I have been stalking just came back online...ok, four times, yikes! Good thing they have free shipping! It all started this morning when I started my morning jog on the treadmill, getting my daily fashion fix while trying to keep my motivation to stay on the machine just another 20 minutes...when I noticed Shopbop had a new Marc lookbook. I have had my eye out for new fun church dresses, and since I had just worn a Marc dress to church the previous Sunday, I started clicking through it and found some Cuuute! new dresses. I settled on the following two, aren't they great? I know the colors are very similar, but I thought the patterns might help to make them seem different and more than likely one will not fit and need to be returned...sooo I got both for now! If I love both and they are too similar I will just pick up the navy/cream print in the Wave Print Dress.
I am also craving new sunnies right now, and scored with a beautiful pair of Oliver Peoples in a Blonde color. I have been wanting some lighter toned glasses, and I think these are the answer to my prayers! I also picked up a pair of Carrera's, bc you just aren't cool if you don't have a pair, and I think they will be awesome for my everyday sloppy work days, they will just add coolness I hope lol!
Last but not least, I was able to snag these Elizabeth and James Chesly Toe Ring Sandal in Purple, are these not soooo cute? They sold out so quick in late January, but my size popped back up for sale so I took it as an omen and snatched them right up! Love them!

Today, we are in Dallas! I needed to come in for market, so B decided to tag along, along with some of our closest friends who also happen to be Burt's cousin and wife. Get all that?lol
Anywho, today we spent the day at Northpark shopping until we couldn't carry anything else. See, when you are from the sticks like we are, you have to shop in bulk when we get to make it to the big city lol!
I took advantage of a sweet promotion going on right now at Juicy, 25% off all Dresses, and they also still have the $50 off all $200 purchases! When I have a few minutes I will post all my goodies I scored today! B was an incredibly good sport, I was so proud of him, he last 3 whole hours before I stuck him in the spa for the rest of the day getting massages while I shopped.
My mission of the day was to find the Sahara Balenciaga (any size I was open to) with the matching hardware, but no luck! I had a great time looking though!
I also had a great time in my outfit. B and I lost count how many times I had my picture taken, had to write down websites, and just stopped to say, "Nice shoes!", "Love your top!" I couldn't believe it! So I had to share my outfit today! I got these awesome Ash wedges from Shopbop, found here, I got the Stone color! I first saw them on Amber's Notebook, and the second I saw them, I knew they HAD to be mine!! I am totally obsessed with anything in a neutral color for Spring, especially Grey!! These would be great for sooooo many things! Today I paired them with my Gryphon Crystal Sweatshirt, found here from Shopbop (got a size small and it fit big!), a Velvet Rae Tank and Juicy Leggings. I always keep my jewelry simple while traveling, so I just had on my engagement ring and my Count Me Healthy bracelet. Simple outfit, right? I wanted to be comfy, I had no idea it would be a sensation!!lol
More shopping tommorrow, heading back to Northpark to tackle Neiman's, and then to Galleria to Saks and the other Juicy store!
(PS-I met all the girls at the Northpark Juicy today and they were soooooo sweet and helpful, and I always love visiting their store!! I just had to give them a shoutout because they knew about my blog! I couldn't believe it!!)

I am sooooo in love with this studded leather jacket and the fluffy vest and t-shirt tunic! KC is sending these my way!! I love the softness mixed with the edgy pieces in this line!

This crochet dress is soooo amazing! Perfect for a dinner out with the boo or a fashion show! I think it would be the perfect summer party dress!!!

This collection is totally amazing!! I seriously would have every piece (and will prob end up with most!) in this run! I love how they have stuck with the basic black so that the season's are inter-mixable. Almost everything is really fresh, but looks equally as wearable in the fall and winter season as well.

What's on my order list from KC? The feather top and ruffle skirt, the white blazer and scarf, and the fluffy shawl and t-shirt tunic for sure, with several other possibles! I am soooo bummed it isn't included in the F&F sale though!! No fair!!!

New Yoga Stretches Into Spring!

KC from the DC store sent me some new Spring Yoga pieces yesterday (and also new Bird you can kinda see a sneak peek in these pics it is awesome!), just in time for the F&F 30% off sale! He is so good about taking pictures of every piece you might be interested in so you don't miss something! I am so excited to finally see that the yoga wraps are FINALLY in stock somewhere!!!!! I have waited a very long time to get my hands on one! (Actually I have had KC stalking them to make sure I got at least one!!!) They are perfect to throw over your yoga gear on cool Spring mornings or even for those spur of the moment errands running to and from the studio! It just classes it up a bit, right? Also, it makes me look forward to working out, always a plus!!

Also, don't you just love the cobalt blue?? I really love it! I think it will look so great on the skin with a good tan this summer!

I picked up the black tank, another pair of the black pants, the cobalt tank and wrap and the black wrap of course!! I will def share sizing reviews of the shrug when I get it in!!

Isn't this the perfect party dress for Spring?? Lo just emailed me this dress and I have a major crush on it!! I think it would be sooooo cute worn casual with a metallic weave crop cardigan and gold gladiators, or all dressed up with big gold chandelier earrings, and my nude CL peep toe pumps!
The cut of the dress also looks like it will be very flattering for so many body types as well, which is great for everyone!! I love tops and dresses that are high-waisted, they make everyone look like they have a small waist and the strapless top is so flattering on the neckline!
This dress is a must-have for me!! What do you gals think of it??

She is back and better than EVA!! at her new store! Isn' this look pure Spring Perfection??!! I have seen this dress popping on a couple of sites (Shopbop and REvolve), and I was drawn to it, but felt it needed an extra something. I got on Shopbop this morning to take another look at it today, and this hat was on the site...wow!! This hat would totally me awesome with the dress, right?? I think this would be awesome for going to watch an outdoor game, a horse race, or just the perfect spring break outfit!! B and I am planning a vacation as well as a small weekend getaway in the next month or so, so this outfit will def be packed!!! I love that the dress is terry, so it will be super comfy, and will give the dress a casual feel to it.
Now I just need to find the perfect shoes!!! Wish me luck! What do you think about this look?

Piperlime Loves Juicy!

I am totally crushing on Piperlime right now. They totally have an awesome stylist and buyer imo for Spring! I just love how they put things together and make me want everything they feature! They also totally love Juicy and feature lots of their pieces in their looks, so I love to check out how they interpret things and make me look twice at pieces I wouldn't normally reach for. Below I have shown some great new pieces I think will be great for this season!

What I Picked Up from Piperlime:

Juicy Couture Drama Beaded Necklace to be worn with this equally amazing Elizabeth and James Parachute Peplum Silk Top, don't you love these together paired with white skinny denim or black leggings??

I saw this look on the front page of Piperlime, and knew I needed the top half! I had already ordered the Grey Sweater last week to pair over my Foulard top, but I am so in love with it paired with the Joie Joslene Animal Print Silk Tank!

I also picked up these great cropped pants, which were also Rachel Zoe Pick's for Spring! I love that the grey one with me so great with wedges, a simple white tank, and a great boy blazer and scarf. Ditto for the Ankle Tie Pants in Black and Olive, but I think they would be great for more casual days with a tee, and a circle scarf with flips!!

Love The Layers!

This winter season I have been so all about layers!! Even though I am petite and curvy, (which layers tend to make both feel very exaggerated, sigh) I just love piling it all on! Especially if it is black, which is new for me, because I am allllll about color! I don't know what it is, I just have my staple go-t0 pieces this year I just can't get enough of. That and I my building and design business has been sooooo busy, I am just maybe mentally exhausted and my creative juices are all tapped out lol! Hope you guys aren't getting bored. This draped cardigan is one of my favorite pieces ever from Juicy. It is soooo darn comfy, I just love it! I feel like I am wearing my pajamas! I always throw this on with a scarf and a pair of leggings to make a grocery or starbucks run, or just to wear around the house to (try) to look cute for B on lazy days!
I have also had so much fun with these JC Mia Fringe Boots I got from Lo, (found here at Zappos!) and get stopped everywhere, and I mean everywhere I go with people admiring them! Even a 92 year old lady stopped me to ask where I got my boots lol!! Love it!
Disclaimer: I will be FINALLY taking done my Chrsitmas Decor this week, I promise! Actually there is a story about this. B told me I should leave it up until our spec home sold, and it did last week so I can FINALLY TAKE IT DOWN!!!!!!!

Crazy for Colorblock!

I don't know about you girls, but I am beyond ready for warmer weather!! This year warmer weather brings many things in my life to look forward to: a new house, fun vacations, maybe a wedding??, and of course cute new clothes! I have been overwhelmed by all the trends for Spring, I have lacked posting about them while I process what will work into my wardrobe and style before I purchased anything.

When I saw the Lanvin sandals shown below, I knew they needed to be in my closet this Spring! I think they will just be awesome with so many things from cute white eyelet or denim short sundresses, but I was hoping to find cute tops or scarves to pair with them as well so when I saw the scarf or top shown below I knew they were perfect for either color of the sandals (even though I am partial to the Denim color!) The cami and/or scarf will be perfect for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and any day in between.

When checking out People's new Style Watch last night (my friend Nina from Nina's Little Black Blog of Style, one of my fav blogs told me I had to go check out the DVF section!) I noticed that they featured Juicy looks, including the cutout dress we were all raving about, my dove leather jacket (LOVE!) and some great everyday staples as strappy sandals, a great tan leather bag to match, and some great olive slouched capris that would be so cute paired with the strappy sandals and leather bag with just a white tee and great scarf!

Recent Outfits!

This week I didn't have much time to play dress up, but I did have to make a grocery run to Whole Foods and the spa one day, and a builder run a couple of days later, so I had a couple opportunities to actually put on something other than grungy work clothes and Hunter boots!
I am so in love with Rebecca Taylor, and have been since I was an inside office gal. Her clothes are just so pretty! I have over 40 pieces from her, and this top is the latest and greatest! I was going to pair it with my Ink skinny JBrands and my Miu Miu sequin platforms (LOVE), but let's face it I was going to be running around Home Depot, I had to save the old men in there a heart attack lol, so I just pulled on matching JC leggings and some cute peep-toe flats, oh so comfy!
The next day when I was pillaging through my WAY TOO SMALL for now closet, a glimpse of my bronze SassNBide Rats caught my eye. I have these in four different colors, from classic black to snakeskin (my snakeskin ones were a big hit at Christmas!) and they are just show stoppers! I love to wear the bronze ones with my DVF sequin cape and my JC Platium Rose flats for a really fun daytime look! When I make my regular monthly appt to my favorite spa in Memphis I like to wear something that is faboosh, but is also really easy and comfy to change in and out of! Right now I am having hair-removal done (OUCH! but oh so worth it come summer time!), so it helps to be able to put my comfy colors back on! I also got my much needed twice a month spray tan! I feel like a new woman!

Menswear Spiced with Leopard and Neon!

When I received this email featuring this Fleece Sweatshirt Blazer in Black (found here) I was excited because I had seen this on so many other sites, but all in grey! I was hoping it would pop up in black, and then the next day, poof! there it was! I actually ordered mine through Lo at her new store (!!! yay Lo!! Welcome to Glendale boo!Muah!) so I should be getting it, along with my Daisy terry jacket soon! As soon as I realized I could get it in black, outfit ideas started running through my head! I like the outfit (for once lol) that juicycouture.com put together with the grey denim leggings and cutout flats. I already have the flats, so I ordered the leggings. Check and check!

But...I also wanted an all black option with a pop of color, so this Yarnz scarf below popped into my mind! Wouldn't it be really cute with this blazer? I am totally obsessed with 80's neon for Spring! I think paired with a pair of fun black leggings, and you poof! you have the perfect shopping outfit! This also looks professional enough to wear to work too I think! I love the looks of a boy blazer, but this just looks so comfy I just had to give it a try, I really hope it works for me! Hopefully I can find a great purple clutch to match the scarf, I think it would look awesome against the black and help to pull that color out of the scarf, so I am off to find one! Wish me luck!

It's So Exhausting Being Brittany Sometimes!

Our New House!!!

Sorry girls!! I am just been super duper swamped this week! We have had an exciting week at Sugg Homes! We sold our spec home, are about to start another, bought a couple of more lots, I am building my soon to be mother and father in law's house, AND...we are finally starting to see progress on ours!! Sadly, it has been on the back burner for the past month or so in order to keep all the other projects going so it was nice to take this week to start working on pulling together details for it! This week I was over-whelmed with ideas of everything outside the house from windows, fencing, our pool layout, shingle colors (LOVE btw!), rock, fountains, a cool new brick design I can't wait to try out, and doors galore! Can you believe that this house has a total of 16 outside doors??? I did a mixture of wood, iron, and both, can't wait to see how everything comes together! We also made this plan a lot bigger, so there has been lots of changes to the garage area, dormers and windows added, etc! I plan to post lots of small projects on BusyBuilderBrittany starting next week, so stay tuned! But, for now, let's get back to Juicy!!

Darling Daisy

This outfit will 1000% be a staple for me this Spring! I love it for so many reasons, when I saw it here on Neiman's last night, it looked like it was put together by me! I love that the terry jacket is black with a fun Springy print. I love wearing black, but sometimes it is hard to translate Spring into the color, but this jacket does it perfectly! I also love the it is 3/4 sleeves, so it will be great to pile on the bracelets! I love the gold zipper and hardware detailing on it as well, perfect for me!

I am also loving the Burn Out Racerback underneath the jacket. This will help keep this outfit relevant and fashion forward, and of course I am gaga over the gold Baby Snap Leggings! You guys know I love leggings and these are no exception!

I can't go wrong with this look! It will be perfect for a day like today that I have planned for Whole Foods and Sephora runs, if the sun ever decides to come out again!

I awoke to hot pink roses, a yummy vegan brownie mix, fun vegan candy, a Chanel brow set and the imfamous Futile Lip Gloss I haven't been able to find anywhere, I have NO idea how he did, a $300 spa gift certificate (so excited to go get the works this week!!), AND a homemade coupon for two handbags of my liking!! Pretty sweet, right? He knows I have been striking out on handbags, so I thought it was so thoughtful!! We also plan on heading to Memphis to do a little shopping, and eat a great meal!
(Btw, I am wearing a Lauren Moshi Pink Poodle Swing Tail Tank, Juicy Black Cashmere Wrap Sweater, Juicy Faux-Leather Leggings, JCrew Black Ruffle Headband, and CL Forever Tina Fringe Boots! I will try to snap some pics tonight when we get back!)

There are two handbags I have pretty much decided on, but I would love your thoughts as well! I plan to order them tommorrow whenever I have a chance! Fingers crossed they work for me!
The Edendale Tote was first seen from one of Lo's emails, but it was in black. I am so in love with my Black Leather Crossbody bag I picked up in the fall, I plan on wearing it for awhile. I need something lighter, more Spring-like. As I have mentioned in a previous post, I had also picked up the Twill Natural (as well as in Cobalt!) bag from Shopbop for a great everyday, everything bag to haul my school books, work papers, packing for the lake, etc...but I really wanted something a little more snazzy! My only concern is that these two bags could possibly complete with each other in my closet, but I want to go ahead and order both to see if I either love both enough to keep both, or which one works better in my wardrobe, and most importantly, which is easier to carry and hold!
I'd love to hear your thoughts!!

Fun New Terry, Jeggings, Mother Goose, and a Credit Card to Pay the Bill!

Brit from the San Antonio Juicy sent me a nice variety of new things! They are all things we all need to have, right? I am really excited about the Jeggings, Terry Short Sets, the new Undies, and I will have to pick up the Credit Card charm to go with all my other shopping charms. (Yes I have an addiction, no make that collection of charms! Hey, I am saving them for my daughter one day!lol) The terry dress is also darling imo as well! So ladylike but fun! Could be worn anywhere from church to the boardwalk. We plan on taking our niece Miss Paris to Disney when school lets out, and I think it would be great to take on that trip!

Isn't This Darling? So Perfect for a Sunday Brunch and Bookstore browsing, yes? (Also Bloomies has the CUTEST pair of Black Thong Jellies that would be so cute with this dress! Otherwise any white sandal would do!)

Love the new terry short sets! I already have a similar one in hot pink, so I opted for the bright blue! (What is it with me and Blue? I have a serious crush with blue and light pink right now!)

Love the bright yellow Down Dog Tee! Perfect for bright sunny days heading out to yoga! I also am so crushing on the girly new undies! I really love the fit of these style as well! Can't go wrong!

New Leather Handbags...personally I am still on the hunt for the "perfect one" for me! I might have found it, check it out in a post coming soon! I really am digging the cream leather color though!

New Denim Jeggings!! This is my fav new fashion term!lol

Brit from the San Antonio Juicy store, (who is prob one of the CUTEST girls I have ever seen!) sent me over a bunch of new pics, and some were of the new collection of the cutest sunglasses! Love love love! There is a pair for everyone! So bright and fun for Spring and Summer! Although I love love love the heart glasses, but I am not so sure I could pull those off...except maybe on the boat or beach? So tempted to give these a try!

I <3> this suit! B and I are planning a fun trip to Turks and Caicos next month, so I must start preparing and I thought this suit would be a great suit to start my 2010 collection lol! I love going on warm beach vacations, they are just so fun to pack for! I usually pack a different suit for everyday, cute coverups, and great sundresses for late night dinners and walks on the beach! I also love to spurgle on new sleepwear and terry suits for the plane! This suit is great for me! I love that the top is a bandeau, great for tanning, right? Also, I love the skirted bottom! I am not a big fan of skimpy bottoms, so I like that these just give the illusion of more coverage, very ladylike!
I plan on packing at least three swimsuits, and this one is def on the list! I will be keeping you posted as I find other perfect suits!

Sunday Funday: SuperBowl Edition!

Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday! Who Dat! Yay to the Saints for pulling out the win! In Superbowls past we usually have a big superbowl blowout, but we came down with a nasty stomach flu so we had to cancel our party! Boo! Needless to say the last thing we wanted was a bunch of junk to make us feel even worse, so I decided to whip up something healthy and vegan, yet fun! I made a pineapple peanut broccoli stirfry with loads of veggies, a veggie broth soup, and these wonderful Double Chocolate Chip cookies from Babycakes!! Every vegan needs this cookbook if they suffer from a horrible sweet tooth such as I!
My cooking must have had some magic in it, because we both woke up feeling much better this morning!

When checking out Bloomies today, I came upon these, The Rush Flats! You can find them here.
They come in a lovely Natural Roccia Snake Print as well as Black. Both are fabulous. Brit from the San Antonio store also sent me over a darling matching snake print headband with the same ruffle detail on the trim as the shoes! Love! These will be so cute with the Tony Trench and Black Leggings as well as Black Skinny jeans and a cute cream cardigan! Love! They are great transition pieces to edge you into Spring and Summer Fashion and would work really well in the Fall and Winter with cashmere sweaters! Hope you like!

I know this isn't so much Juicy related, but it is Brittany related! I have made the gut wrenching decision to cheat on my gay boyfriend aka my hair stylist and try someone new today! Eeekkk! I am so nervous about it from I have heard such rave reviews on my new gal pal I think it will be a great change for me to make into a new salon. (Not to mention she colors Carrie Underwood's and Sugarland's hair too!) She asked me to bring a couple of looks and this Elle spread of Heidi Klum instantly came to mind. I love the blunt cut bangs and super blond hair (although I will be smearing on the self tanner constantly lol!), but also love that I can still pull it in a ponytail on work days which is a must for me! So looking forward to a fresh new look!

A Sneak Peek from Shopbop!

When I saw this column header from the Shopbop site, I almost died!! So much cuteness all crammed into one little pic!! We will most likely have to wait at least a month or so until we start seeing these looks pop up for sale on the site, but I will patiently (well I will try to be patient lol) wait for these to be available for purchase! I know the pic is small, but it was the best I could do. I am just in love with all three looks! The plaid shirt (or dress, can't tell) is perfect for 4th of July, Memorial Day at the lake, etc. Bought, Sold!lol The white dress and headband is just darling. It has to be mine. (I have no idea if the headband is Juicy or not, but either way it will be in my closet lol) This is just the perfect day dress or date dress or even church dress. Love! Finally, the best for last, I just love the last look on the right, not sure if it is a top or dress, but I am diging it with the floppy white terry hat. Add those to my list as well! Also unsure on the material, but I would love it in terry, modal, or silk! If it is terry, I am totally buying the white ruffle bottom Juicy bikini and making this my coverup! I just adore it!

When I opened up my February 2010 Glamour (one of my favorite magazines!) I loved this look Katy Perry was featured in! I swear she can wear anything and look great! I especially love the Juicy Heart-Shaped Sunglasses in Bright White! Oh, how I wish I could pull them off! Totally would be so cute with a cute sundress and bright lipstick! How fun! Maybe I should try them.....

My New Favorite Bag In A New Color!

Ever since I have recieved my new Royal Ruffle Tote from Lo in Cobalt, I have just been on pins and needles for it to warm up enough to start wearing it. (Sorry I haven't posted pics yet, I will try to get to that tonight!) It is just the perfect bag for me for several reasons, because it is so big it will hold everything and then some, and it is so comfy to carry. I love how the straps are wide and with it being cotton, it will take a beating and I never have to worry about it getting scratched, etc. Soooo, when I saw the Natural color pop up on Shopbop this morning, I knew I just had to get it too! Not too bad for $148, I think this bag will go with so much of my wardrobe, and I thought to add a punch of color I could get this CUTE key fob from Brit at the San Antonio store and a really cute hot pink wallet, what do you think? I just love it and am so excited I found a really cute everyday bag that is very well priced and washable! How awesome is that?

The Juicy Couture Band Jacket is featured as the new February 2010 Vogue Steal of the Month! I totally loved how they have this look styled with a Rag & Bone silk shirtdress and harem pants and I am in total love with the Stuart Weitzman lace up platforms as well! I think if you couldn't take the look as far as Vogue did, simply pair it with a white Fluxus tshirt, JBrand skinnies, and the Weitzman platforms.
